This year, company director of Hertford Drylining, Kenneth Hayes, will be riding all 21 stages of The Tour de France on behalf of Cure Leukaemia, alongside a team of amateur cyclists – one week ahead of the professionals. This challenge will see the team tackle all 21 stages (approximately 3,500km) and they are doing it to help fund lifesaving research. To help Kenneth reach his goal of raising £30,000 for Cure Leukaemia, he is hosting a series of fundraising events – a charity night at The Blind Fiddler on 2nd May and a Charity Golf Day at Hanbury Manor on 22nd May. At both events there will be a raffle and auction, with items including Tyson Fury’s boxing gloves, holidays and Premier League Hospitality Tickets. Every penny goes directly towards the charity, funding clinical trials for blood cancer patients across the globe.
