New Conservation Hub in Shepreth

Shepreth Wildlife Park has launched a new Conservation Hub, made possible by the help of a grant from the South Cambridgeshire District Council Rural England Prosperity Fund.
The new Conservation Hub will offer visitors an immersive, permanent exhibition dedicated to endangered species, climate change, British wildlife conservation and the everyday actions people can take to make a difference through sustainability, waste disposal, recycling, upcycling, reuse, repurposing and conservation actions.
More than an exhibition, the Conservation Hub is a dynamic centre for conservation education and behaviour change – bringing wildlife stories to life through interactive displays, educational boards and hands-on engagement.

Visitors to the wildlife park can visit the Hub, and explore:

  • Endangered species conservation
  • Climate change & habitat protection
  • The remarkable story of hedgehog rescue & rehabilitation
  • Practical ways individuals can help protect nature in their own communities
  • A wealth of ideas to bring sustainability action into our lives through small & large steps
The Hub has been created to be fun, immersive and thought-provoking for all ages – turning awareness into action.

Shepreth Wildlife is open daily.
