Back in December, we published a Find the 10 Balloon competition to mark our 10th issue of Local Connections Magazine.
Our winner, Ken from Meesden, visited the Blind Fiddler in Anstey with his winning voucher, and has kindly written a review of his experience.
“The Blind Fiddler have amazing food, all of which is cooked fresh as it is ordered. Their menu changes each day according to what they get fresh from the supplier, and having spoken to many people who said that all the food is so good, I just had to give it a try myself.
“I chose the Brisket steak and at first glance I thought it might be too rare for my taste. How wrong was I! The steak just melted in my mouth and was far better than any steak I have ever had. It was incredible.
“Thank you very much for the voucher. Had I not won your competition I might never have gone to this great pub for a meal and would have missed out on a wonderful meal.”
