Our cover image this month features Jubilee Woods, part of Therfield Heath.
Therfield Heath is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest, with stunning views across the surrounding Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire countryside. The public footpaths form part of the Icknield and Hertfordshire Ways, and there are very many paths you can take across the Heath for a leisurely morning or afternoon stroll, followed by a cooling drink at the Heath Cafe.

A wide variety of wild flowers and grasses bloom through spring to autumn, and the Heath is a haven for birds, butterflies and insects.
Throughout the year, enjoy activities for all ages: conservation groups, wildlife walks, litter picks, outdoor yoga and art sessions.
