Swifts, Masters of the Sky

Join the Royston Wildlife Group for a talk, ‘Swifts, Masters of the Sky’ on Tuesday 25th February

For many, the return of the swifts in May heralds the start of summer. However, these much-loved birds have declined by approximately 62% since the mid-1990s and are now on the red list of birds, indicating the highest conservation concern. Clive Fleming, of the Hertford Swift Group, will tell us more about this amazing bird and the efforts both locally and across the country to help its numbers recover, including what you can do to assist.

It starts at 7.30pm in the Heritage Hall, Town Hall, Royston. Entrance £5. Booking not needed, just turn up.
